Shibuya River System(渋谷川水系)

Shibuya River winds its way through the heart of Tokyo, beginning in the north where its upper reaches are now mostly covered as underground drains.
One of its historical sources is a pond in Shinjuku Gyoen — a beautifully landscaped garden located near Shinjuku Station.
As it flows southward, the river passes through bustling areas like Shibuya and Hiroo before eventually becoming the Furukawa River and continuing toward Tokyo Bay.
